Let’s Create Your Personalized Action Plan

Cancer recovery is not one-size-fits-all.

A cancer diagnosis can leave you feeling overwhelmed, scared, confused by the hard to say medical terms and all the different treatment options, and you may even feel disconnected from your body.  At Newsom Wellness, recovery support goes beyond protocols and rushed doctor visits. You’ll receive personalized guidance rooted in evidence-based metabolic health, sustainable lifestyle practices, and faith-centered encouragement—so you can feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

As someone who sees you as a real person with a full and beautiful life—not just as a patient and not as a diagnosis code, I'll guide you through the next steps of making a plan that will help you overcome and thrive.

Personalized, 1:1 Guidance
Your care is tailored to what you need. Every recommendation is grounded in your unique situation, priorities, and at your pace.

Metabolic & Lifestyle-Focused Support
We focus on daily, actionable ways to support your body—through nutrition, lifestyle habits, stress regulation, and metabolic health—alongside your medical care.

Clear, Actionable Plans
Don't be overwhelmed. You’ll receive practical steps you can implement with confidence, not endless information or conflicting advice.

A Safe Place to Ask Questions
You don’t have to figure this out alone. I help you process information, understand what labs mean, prepare for conversations and develop questions for your care team, so you can make decisions thoughtfully.

Ongoing Encouragement & Accountability
As your journey evolves, so does your support. I’m here to help you adjust, stay grounded, and feel supported through change.

You don’t need more stress and anxiety.  You need a PLAN to support your body and mind.

You may be feeling....

You may be feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information coming at you—medical terms, different treatment options, opinions, and online advice—without knowing what truly applies to you.

You may be feeling pressured to make decisions quickly, even though you’re still trying to process the shock of a diagnosis and what it means for your life.

You may be feeling confused about treatment options and unsure which questions to ask, what matters most, or how to weigh risks and benefits.

You may be feeling afraid of making the wrong choice—wondering if one decision could impact not only your outcome, but your quality of life.

You may be feeling unseen—as though you’ve become a diagnosis or rather than a real person with values, beliefs, and a life beyond cancer.

You may be feeling unsure what you can do outside of standard treatment to support your body, strengthen your resilience, and feel proactive rather than helpless.

You may be feeling torn between different medical opinions and well-meaning advice from loved ones, and your own inner sense of what feels right.

You may be feeling anxious about side effects, long-term changes, or how treatment might impact your energy, identity, and day-to-day life.

You may be feeling curious about natural or lifestyle-based approaches—but hesitant, unsure what’s safe, or worried about judgment if you ask.

You may be feeling alone in this process, even with support around you—wishing someone could walk beside you, help you think clearly, and guide you step by step.

✨ If any of these thoughts have kept you awake at night, you’re not alone and we offer you support for navigating this journey with clarity, confidence, and care.

✨ How We Work Together

We start by slowing things down. You’ll have space to share your concerns, values, diagnosis and what matters most—without pressure or overwhelm.  Together, we look at your whole picture—including metabolic health, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, and daily habits—to develop clear, realistic steps that support your body alongside medical care. You receive ongoing guidance, support, and adjustments as your needs evolve—so you’re never left navigating decisions or changes alone.

Hi, I’m Amy Newsom, FNP. Like many of the people I serve, I understand what it feels like to have life divided into a before and an after. Nearly seven years ago, my family experienced the devastating loss of our 13-year-old son, Joshua. In that season of deep grief, I made a choice to cling to my faith and trust God’s plan—even when I couldn’t understand it—and to believe that something meaningful could still grow from the pain.

That journey shaped both my heart and my calling. Today, I combine conventional medical training with integrative, metabolic approaches to walk alongside individuals facing cancer and chronic illness. My passion is to slow things down, look at the whole person, and provide personalized support that helps people feel informed, empowered, and hopeful. I believe deeply that healing is personal—and that God continues to bring beauty from ashes, one intentional step at a time.

Cancer may be part of your story—but it is not the whole story.
